I haven't looked too hard at this, but one thing strikes me odd.

All of the carriers have allowed this to go on for years, and all of them have profited out the wazoo. (I got burned by Verizon a couple times as well.) The difference is that T-Mo put a complete stop to this practice and challenged the other carriers to do the same. So why go after T-Mo and not the other carriers?

Maybe I'm missing something.
