Getting my soft modem to work with my fax program

Hi Folks,

This is my first time around.  Scuzzy brought me in 

I have a Lexmark scanner, and when I try to fax through the Lexmark Poductivity software, my Agere Systems PCI-SV92PP soft modem is not giving the program a dial tone so it can start dialing the recipient.

I am running a router, and have VIOP through T-Mobile.  I really don't know how to bridge the gap.

I'll have to research your equipment as I'm not familiar with it. Until then, have you checked your firewall settings?

If you are only using Window's built-in solution, then there is nothing to check since Windows does not monitor outgoing connections. However, a third party firewall may prevent you from connecting.
