You probably already know this but, last evening I emptied the Trash folder on the T6 while it was connected to wifi. This morning I discovered the Trash folder on my PC is empty as well. Not a happy camper, things lost I was using.....
Must remember to turn off wifi next time.

I'm somewhat opposite, as I never use trash or recycle. When I delete something, I want it permanently deleted right away. As such I use CCleaner throughout the day, and I constantly empty out trash folders in my email, etc.
You could try a file recovery program, such as Recuva (https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/features/undelete-files-on-your-computer).

Thanks for the suggestion, it succeeded in finding 4 files, all a year old.

I'm glad that worked out.
You know, I remember Ace often joking of using the Recycle Bin to store his important files. Lol

It worked so well I promptly uninstalled it. There must be a better way, and I don't mean recovery. I love my smart phone but sometimes it really has it's downsides.

I was a manager at Office Depot and in charge of the tech department (along with everything else), and we had an irate customer that was upset that we deleted her data she was storing in the Recycle Bin when she paid us to clean up her PC. I basically laughed at her. Not to be rude, ma'm, but it's called a recycle bin. Do you store your important files in your recycle bin at home?

Must have been Ace's wife. Lol

Indeed!! I wonder about him sometimes......

And here I thought I had happily gone into retirement.
Scuzzy; this is what happens when I think, when I'm not used to it.
