Title: Adobe Flash Manager Settings
Post by: scuzzy on May 09, 2011, 13:15 hrs
I should think by now everyone is familiar with tracking cookies. Anti-malware software makers love to make a big deal of "harmful" cookies that they find on your system, although there really isn't much harm that they can cause.

Regardless, flash cookies are as much of a pest and can be more difficult to detect and control. However, a simple solution is to go to Adobe Flash Manager Settings (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html) and get rid of them yourself. I keep the site bookmarked and I regularly delete all flash cookies.

If you are using Firefox, I recommend the BetterPrivacy add-on to help keep those "super" flash cookies at bay. I also installed the Flashblock add-on to gain further control.
