This VPNFilter malware is bad news. The solution requires a factory reset of the affected router. Probably a good time to update the router's firmware as well.

At the bottom of this Cisco's Talos Intelligence Group article you'll find the latest affected routers. The article states, "Given our observations with this threat, we assess that this list may still be incomplete and other devices may be affected."

Thanks, pretty technical stuff there.  The only thing I can say for certain is my latest ASUS router isn't on the list, yet.
