Windows 10 forced updates suck. I haven't been hit with this yet, but my system is showing it as a pending download. Microsoft was warned of the problem, but shoved the update down everyone's collective throat anyway:

According to the article you linked, this is an optional update.  Can't you hide them??

No, I can't hide them or make them go away. Even though it's "optional", Windows 10 will eventually install it anyway. If I click the update at all (just to see what it is), Windows will immediately begin the installation. However, I can uninstall the update if/when it gives me problems.
