Rather than continue in the other thread, I thought it made sense to start afresh. I have no experience with the Logitech wired k/b you cited but my last wired k/b was a Seitech. I am now on the second K800, the first lost a battle with coffee.
But, after that happened I ordered a replacement, without hesitation, the same day, from Amazon and a 2 day delivery. During the 2 day wait I went back to the Seitech and my initial reaction was "geez, this is awful. The keys felt very mechanical, sat high in the frame and were difficult to readjust to using. Fortunately I don't have to type a lot but I would never go back after using the K800. Right now the price difference is $10 more for the wireless version and well worth the investment.
IMO the K800 feels truly like an electronic keyboard, not a electrified mechanical one as the Seitech did.
