Looks like the H-D Nav. system could stand some improvement/upgrade.  But that looks like a nice bracket for the Note.

  • In an emergency, 9-1-1 calls ME.

It is a really nice, solid phone mount that I found on Amazon. It's easy to get the smartphone on/off the mount one-handed, and when in use it keeps a death grip on the phone. Despite the constant vibrations, the phone never moves in the slightest. I also like the infinite angle adjustments. I need to find one for my car: TACKFORM phone mount

The Harley GPS itself isn't too bad going down the road (I had it zoomed out in the video), but the BOOM! 6.5 "infotainment" system can be very trying. It's such a terribly designed interface with endless menus, sub-menus and quirks, that it's easy to walk away in total frustration. Nothing is intuitive; nothing makes sense. There is a tutorial available for $20, but I refuse. It shouldn't be that difficult, yet I'm often on YouTube and Harley forums trying to find out how to do a particular function.

Then I look at Indian's entertainment/information/GPS system, and it's stinkin' awesome.

Thanks, it was waiting for me when I checked.  Install seemed to stop when I plugged in the charger. I unplugged and a resume button appeared.  Took a while.

Knowing everything you know now, what's your take on the OnePlus 6T and T-Mobile? I know nothing is perfect, but would you call it a win/win?

Yes I would. In the nothing is perfect category, I think the T6 is too big and android frequently gets "confused" and requires a reboot.
T-Mo seems as good as Verizon, I have no complaints at all.  Saturday I paid off the phone, but on Sunday T-Mo billed my credit card as if I hadn't.  I'm going to wait until Wednesday before I talk to customer service.  I am hoping they contact me first.

I sympathize. I reboot my Note 9 every 3 to 5 days to unclog its brain. At minimum, it automatically reboots itself once a week.

While for the most part I like my Note 9, we'll see if I ever get another Samsung phone for 2 reasons. I do not like the curved edge screen, and think of it as a ridiculous gimmick. Moreover I cannot stand Bixby, which is baked into the Samsung software and absolutely cannot be disabled. I have it scaled back as much as is allowed, but once in awhile I inadvertently bring it up while handling the phone. I find it very annoying.

Other than that, everything's great. Lol

Thank you and done. No other changes I've found yet.
