Every so often I pick up a fake virus "alert" that is really annoying and difficult to shake.  I haven't found a way to delete this kind of stuff.
What do you do about malware and the like on your phone and how do you tackle it?

I have run antimalwarebytes but all I could find in the 30day premium trial. And since uninstalled it.

  • In an emergency, 9-1-1 calls ME.

I'm sorry my friend, but I have not had that problem and have no immediate advice. I can tell you that I use Firefox as my Android browser, and I also installed Adblock Plus. Together they have been quite effective for me.

Both good suggestions, I will try AdBlock Plus.

I downloaded FireFox for Android and Ublock.origin which is what I use on my main system.  So far FF ver.60.0.1 seems pretty good.  Maybe I'll leave Chrome alone for a while.
