Historic Winter Storm?

As I understand it, there's a winter storm of historic proportion headed your way. What's it like in your corner of the world?

It seems to be just north, upstate SC, GA and NC are expecting snow.  Here it's all rain, but lots of it.  Temp is almost 40 F.  I am fairly close to lots of water, and snow in this part of SC is very rare.  But thanks for asking, I'd guess from NC to NY it's going to be a real big mess .

I just checked the forecast and the daytime highs you are experiencing now are due here early next week.

I'm an not a fan of snow, which makes me a clown for living in Colorado.

Yes, you have said that before.  I frequently think of the photo of you standing along side the upside down patrol car in the snow!

More storms here this morning.  Windy and cold (for us) tomorrow.  In the 50's.  Glad you aren't getting the worst of it.  My family in NC is getting quite a bit and worried about the ice later.

That is unfortunate Carol.  But Fox is calling this a "life and death" blizard and from what I've seen they may be right.  Rain is better than all of that.

Yes, I'm sure it is.  I do hope it is not as bad as they are predicting.  I can't imagine how hard it would be to get that kind of weather.

Well I certainly hope that both of you are spared any misery regardless of the type of weather. We have been lucky so far in Colorado, but I'm sure our day is coming.
