Recently cloned my old Samsung 840 Pro on to a new A-Data SX8200.
Just wanted to share with you guys how epic this drive is. Who needs PCIe 4.0? The speeds are already fine!
For only $127, you get 1TB of fast NVMe storage from
Controller: Silicon Motion SM2262EN
NAND Flash: Intel/Micron 64L 3D TLC
Great AS SSD results overall! I wish 4k1T was higher, but with mutli-threaded, it's great!
I play a lot Cities Skylines with addons, which is very RAM, Storage, and 4-6 thread CPU intensive, and it improved the load times of saved games from 8 minutes to 3.5 minutes. (I have a lot of added assets and mods)
A-Data SX8200 1TB NVMe Drive at AmazonNow I need the Ryzen 3700X and X470 motherboard to go on sale!
