I sometimes use programs that will only print and not create a normal graphics file.  How do I get print output to make me something I can open with my picture editing software without involving the printer at all? I have XP SP3.

Thanks but tried Infraview. No go. In the other program there is no option on save for anything other than the program's native file. It will however print the graphic so I need the option of being able to direct the printing to a graphics program or something that will create a graphics file from print output.

Thanks but I think that extension is pretty much stuck with that program and getting it to print to a graphics file or program is my best bet. Might the following be the right track?

Shift print screen and paste works decently. Think I'll use that. Thanks very much. :)
