This darn thing is so frustrating, I did't get as far as google. Thanks for that. I will give it a shot.
EDIT: even with the You Tube, changing the laptop settings to remove all, instead of saving personal data was a head scratcher. After I flipped a toggle it finally gave me the option to remove everything except the O/S; which is fine.
We are at 55% at 40 minutes.
Seems this is a 2 step process. The first appears to be the removal of personal info, which BTW took 2 passes to accomplish. After the second try the computer zipped right to the initial power on screen to tell me it was preparing to reload Win 10, and sat there with the spinning circle for about three hours before it showed any progress. At 4 hours it began to show movement and at 60% I turned the power off, and on and off several times. I stopped when the reported progress said re-install of win 10 failed.
