It's still beautiful music. Some artists have made their best (and haunting) songs on their way out. A few that come to mind are "Hurt" by Johnny Cash (originally by Nine Inch Nails); "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" by Glen Campbell; and the album "The Wind" by Warren Zevon, with "Keep Me In Your Heart" as his goodbye song. The latter has Bob Dylan's "Knocking On Heaven's Door", but Zevon owned it with his rendition.

Thanks for passing that along. I'll probably buy it and then download it to my playlist.

"haunting" is an excellent description.  And I like them.  Kind of like minor chords on a guitar.
