type faces breaking up

I'm having little gaps in the type of words on the web. It doesn't occur in the word processor, just on the web. I can sometimes place the cursor over the word and it becomes normal or if I select the word it becomes normal. Never experienced this before.

Your zoom level may be off. Try hitting Cntrl-0 (zero on number pad) to reset the zoom level to normal and see if that works.

I tried ctl 0 and nothing happens. If it was a hd problem I'd expect worse than this. Thx anyway

Ctrl - (minus) decreases the zoom level
Ctrl + (plus) increases the zoom level
Ctrl 0 (zero) resets the zoom level

If Ctrl 0 did not fix the problem, then the zoom level was not the issue.

I was thinking it might be the computer but since it only occurs on the web it has to be some kind of software glitch. I wish I could do a screen shot to show exactly what it looks like.

It's not the font size. THere are little gaps in the letters, like its not all filled in. I think it may be a screen hardware problem.

That would make sense. Any chance of trying an alternate monitor?

That's a good idea scuzzy. I might be able to connect the lenovo z565 to the lenovo yoga(?).
