Went to their concert last night at the little live theater in town here. Was pleasantly surprised by the range of music and talent of these fine musicians.  It's hard to describe the exact type of music other than to just refer to their Website and a rundown at Wikipedia .

But it's fun to listen to and they did a fine stage performance and I'd go again.

Here's a bunch from Youtube
SeaSonic M12II 620W, ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870, AMD Phenom II X4 925 Deneb 2.8GHz, Crucial 8GB (4 x 2GB) DDR3 1333, SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850, Kingston HyperX 120G 120GB Solid State Boot Drive, WD Caviar 1 TB Storage Drive, LG DVD-RW, Samsung SyncMaster 226bw 21" LCD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

No, it wasn't until today that I read that they had a song in that movie. For the most part I didn't know anything about them before last night.

I'll wait for the DVD of Hunger games and most likely Avengers too.

  • The Ghost who walks. Slowly.

Pat, thanks for sharing that.  Way cool. They are really versatile, in switching off instruments and filling in.  I liked the way up style bit, when she takes the violin and jughead handles the banjo.  I like the approach to do the Appalachian Hunger Games since that's the district portrayed.  Arcade Fire participates, which is fine by me.

I have some aversion to "Pop Twangy Country" but the real British imported genuine article is fine by me, to see the connect.  Honest to gosh folk music.

Ace; that must have been a good time.

Hey, I'll watch the listings and let you know the next time they come to town.

We get quite a bit of talent at the little live theater in town here. I really should go more often.
