It is truly a piece of junk! I had the s3 for years and got suckered into getting an iphone. A sucker is born every minute. The latest frustration started with the constant popup asking if I want to sign in to itunes. I googled a fix and it said to disable or sign out of icloud. I did this and it didn't work. The irritating popup still pops up!

Now I can't get icloud back! I go to settings, tap icloud and it appears to ask for the icloud email. I don't know it and can't find it. It also asks for the apple id and password. Then a page comes up asking if I want to reset the password. I changed the pw. I keep getting the same page.I'm being jerked around in Dante's circle of Hell.

There are numerous other problems with this piece of junk. It has a tiny tap area on the keypad. I constantly type in the wrong letter or number as a result. It locks up in the middle of typing a text message or email. The s3 is a far superior phone. I'm going to put this crap phone on craigslist and go back to samsung. This totally sours me on apple. Never will I be suckered into buying anything from their overpriced junk.

  • In an emergency, 9-1-1 calls ME.

I wish I could give you some good advice on how to resolve the problem, but I know nothing of Apple or iPhone products. My office tried to issue an iPhone to me earlier this year, but I complained so loudly that I was issued a Samsung instead. I have no regrets.

I would suggest you give Apple support a call. I understand that their support is top-notch, so maybe they can help you resolve your problem.

Thanks Scuzzy. I put it on craigslist for $500. Got one call already. You're right. I should have stuck with the s3.

I got scammed just trying to sell this thing but it didn't work. Two people from ny sent message saying they wanted the phone. They basically attempted the same scam. Said they would credit my paypal acct with the purchase price plus extra money to ship it immediately (red flag!) They sent an email purportedly from paypal saying the money would not be credited to my account until I sent them a tracking number. Paypal does this. But the email had a lot of grammatical errors in it (red flag!)

I called paypal and they said this is their policy but they had no record of sending me any emails. The scammers included their addresses where the phone was to be shipped. I sent them both emails with some expletive deleted words. They both responded in kind. Nasty new yorkers. The net is full of predators who stay up a night coming up with some new way to screw people. This should qualify as criminal fraud.

Good for you for being wise enough to see past the smoke and mirrors. I have to deal with plenty of victims who fall for this scam on a regular basis.

It's amazing what people will fall for. I bet these dudes have a house full of stuff people sent them. One of them was so brazen he asked me if I had anything else to sell! Let's get it all!

I can tell you Craig's list is a dangerous place.  Two years ago I listed an old (1800) armour on Craig's list. I had 143 responses from as far away as India.  All of them were scams, I finally took the listing down.

chopin, I think the number of responses is proportional to the price of the listed item.  I never did sell the armour.
