A friend of mine, about 2-3 months ago built an M2 system using a Gigabyte Gaming MB and a Kingston Hyper Predator x4 M2 SSD. His results were only mediocre performance. Long boot times, average read and write speeds, and a long shut down. He was, needless to say, very disappointed with the M2. He ultimately replaced the Kingston M2 SSD with a Samsung 850 Pro (like yours) and put the M2 in the drawer. He said the comparative performance was noticeably better.
While this is a bit circumstantial, you may have saved yourself a headache.
