This morning my touchscreen was/is completely unresponsive.  It simply is not working. I tried a reboot and now the phone is stuck/frozen on the reboot screen with the power off slider not responsive. I think I have tried all combinations of buttons push/hold.  T-Mo in town doesn't open until noon. Not certain what I am going to do but since this is  my only phone I must do something. In retrospect I probably shouldn't have sold the SE.  Maybe that  might be an interim solution if T-Mo has one.
Going to look to see what might be available that's not an arm and a leg.....
As I now recall I didn't sell the SE, I traded it, same net effect.

Don't know how or why, left it charging for an hour, pushed the restart button and it did.  Seems fine now.

  • In an emergency, 9-1-1 calls ME.

Have you given Apple a call? I'm thinking the phone is still easily within warranty, so a repair or replacement should be in the offering.

Note: I just saw your update. I hope it was just a fluke.

Me too. I just did a O/S to 14.4.1, not noticeably different.  But all is still OK.
EDIT:
This is not true actually. The new iOS is faster and, now that I've used it, I like it.  Switching to Apple, for me who has always disliked Apple, has been a wonderful experience, this morning's glitch notwithstanding.
